How a party girl turns full-blown alchie: baring my soul for Stylist Magazine

I’m getting braver!

The more I write about alcohol addiction, and my own experience with it specifically, the easier it comes to me.

And the more I’m reminded too that this is the kind of writing that sets my soul on fire.

Not in a big-headed ‘look at me writing about myself’ kind of way.

More in a ‘if just one person relates, and finds something useful in here, then it’s totally worth it’ kind of way.

So yes, penning this piece for Stylist recently filled my cup, and in a far healthier way than when I used to fill most of my cups with alcohol.

You can read it here. It is behind a paywall, but the section I wrote it for, ‘Learn From My Mistakes’, is worth the small subscription fee alone, if women writing candidly about what life has taught them is your bag. It’s totally mine, hence I binged a ton of articles in there before I wrote my own (and for research purposes too, obvs).

A little something I penned for Stylist recently.
