I knew I was destined to be a writer when I developed an early-age fascination with pens. To this day, I find some of my best ideas come from a good old-fashioned brainstorm with a novelty notebook and a fancy Biro (and yes, I own far too many of both!)

As a journalist I’ve written for the New York Times, London Evening Standard, The Sun and Woman & Home magazine. I also dabbled in PR for a few years, and cut my copywriting teeth as the lead copywriter for UK military charity, Help for Heroes. I’ve been freelancing since 2021.

I live in South Yorkshire and spend my spare time scribbling ideas for novels on post-it notes and fussing over other people’s dogs (pet-sitting is my side hustle, which you can read more about here).
